Jessica Blackwell, the proprietor of Equestricare, is a qualified Equine Body Worker, and Animal Naturopath. Holding a Bachelor of Science, and wanting to specialise in horses, she completed a Diploma in Horse Business Management at Marcus Oldham College in Victoria . Here she focused on horse health and was awarded the Ballarat Veterinary Prize for "Horse Health".
In order to offer her clients the best possible service, she also undertook qualifications In Equine Body Work, Equine Myofascial Release, Red Light Therapy, Equine Nurological and Muscular Disorders and Herbal Medicine and is currently furthering her business development skills.

Jessica's passion is horses, and anyone who has seen her work will understand the close bond she shares with these beautiful animals.
She has worked on a variety of horses ranging from your average pleasure horses to racehorses in work and high level competition horses. She was a competitive rider in a previous life (hoping to get back into it soon) and passionate horse owner, which enables her to combine a practitioners perspective with a rider/owners point of view to ensure that your horse gets the best treatment possible.
